Pastor Cassie Carroll
Rev. Cassie Carroll started as the Head Pastor at Palisades Presbyterian Church, in San Diego, California on July 1st, 2022. She has been ordained in the PCUSA since June 18th, 2022. Cassie graduated from The Seattle School of Theology and Psychology, with a Master’s of Divinity in 2016.
Cassie’s desire is to help people see the Divine in the midst of life – especially when it feels as though the Divine is not present. She believes that a church community encourages each other in their growing faith and to show God’s love to the neighborhood.
She is so excited to start the next chapter of her life here in San Diego with her dog Emma and with her fiancé Andrew. They are happy to have moved back to Andrew’s hometown and be closer to his family. All three of them are looking forward to what is next for them as they make their home at Palisades Presbyterian Church.
Rev. Dr. Robert W. Mentze volunteers his service to Palisades and was formally welcomed as Parish Associate by action of the Session. Pastor Bob hosts Tuesday at 10 weekly Adult Bible Study and has preached and moderated Session on occasion. We are blessed to have him share his passion for Christ, intellect, talent, and years of professional wisdom with us.
