Vespers on The Point
Saturdays 5:15-6:00pm, September 12 – October 31
Vespers on The Point is a new Palisades-gathered evening service of prayer and thanksgiving in our beautiful and recently refreshed outdoor amphitheater.
Join us on Saturdays, beginning September 12 at 5:15pm, for a gentle time of worship and gratitude; childcare will be provided in the HGT Family Park.
While eager to offer Vespers on The Point
- We encourage you to greet each other with your eyes and a wave,
- Staying safely spaced, Ushers will seat and dismiss by rows
- We will track attendance so notification can be made in case of a positive test.
- There will be a no-touch offering box will be at the top of the bluff.
- We ask anyone not feeling well to stay at home
Whether or not you can come, we ask that you keep Vespers on The Point in your prayers and continue to pray for the Palisades Presbyterian Church, her families, the church universal, and the whole world distressed by this pandemic.
…clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience. … Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in the one body.
FOOD COLLECTION AT SUNSET VESPER SERVICE
The Outreach Commission will be collecting jars of peanut butter and canned meat at each of the Saturday Vesper services. Items collected will be donated to a local food distribution center.
